Dr. Peter Mancuso is the founder of NY Foot & Ankle Surgeons. He is the Chief of Podiatry at Southside Hospital part of Northwell Health. He is board certified by the American Board of Podiatric Surgery and a Fellow of the American College of Foot and Ankle Surgeons. Dr. Mancuso is cofounder of the Long Island Wound Healing Association, Optimum Podiatry Group and Island Wound Healing. He is a past President of the Suffolk County Podiatric Medical Association.

Dr. Kevin Shim joined NY Foot & Ankle Specialists in Brentwood, NY in July 2022. He graduated from and earned the Doctor of Podiatric Medicine degree at Temple University School of Podiatric Medicine in Philadelphia, PA. Then he completed his Podiatric Medicine and Surgery Residency with added credentials in Reconstructive Rearfoot/Ankle Surgery at St. John’s Episcopal Hospital in Far Rockaway, NY, where he pursued additional fellowship training in Wound Care and Hyperbaric Medicine.

Dr. Esther Hansen is an Attending at Southside Hospital, completed her podiatric medicine and surgical residency at Northport VA. She is Board Qualified by the American Board of Podiatric Surgery.
