Dr. Peter Mancuso

Dr. Peter Mancuso is the founder of NY Foot & Ankle Surgeons. He is the Chief of Podiatry at Southside Hospital part of Northwell Health. He is board certified by the American Board of Podiatric Surgery and a Fellow of the American College of Foot and Ankle Surgeons. Dr. Mancuso is cofounder of the Long Island Wound Healing Association, Optimum Podiatry Group and Island Wound Healing. He is a past President of the Suffolk County Podiatric Medical Association.

Dr. Mancuso is active in training foot and ankle surgeons and is the on-site Director of Podiatric Residency Training for Northwells Forest Hills Hospital. He lectures around the country on topics such as wound care and surgical technique. Dr. Mancuso is certified in Hyperbaric Oxygen and wound care.

Dr. Mancuso completed a podiatric surgical residency in Manhattan and was appointed chief resident. He earned his medical degree at the New York College of Podiatric Medicine. He also holds a Bachelor of Science from the University of Scranton. Dr. Peter Mancuso was raised in Kings Park and remains active in his Long Island community.

Dr. Esther Hanson

Dr. Esther Hansen is an Attending at Southside Hospital, completed her podiatric medicine and surgical residency at Northport VA. She is Board Qualified by the American Board of Podiatric Surgery. She is also part of the Long Island Wound Healing Association and the American Professional Wound Care Association. Dr. Hansen is a graduate of New York College of Podiatric Medicine

Dr. Dana B Siegel, DPM

Diplomate, American Board of Foot and Ankle Surgery

Dr. Siegel graduated with honors from the State University of New York at Stony Brook with a Bachelor of Science in Biochemistry in 1989. Dr. Siegel received his Podiatric Medical degree from the New York College of Podiatric Medicine and went on to complete his Podiatric Surgical Residency at Saint Barnabas Hospital. Dr. Siegel was honored with the award of Podiatric Resident of the Year in 1995. Dr. Siegel has been board certified by the prestigious American Board of Foot and Ankle Surgery since August of 2000 and has performed numerous complex surgical procedures over the past 22 plus years. Dr. Siegel has practiced in the Bay Shore area since 1998 and currently holds full staff privileges at both Good Samaritan Hospital and South Shore University Hospital. Dr. Siegel is both a surgeon and clinical instructor and has twice been awarded the Renato Giorgini Podiatric Attending of the Year. Dr. Siegel treats patients of all ages and conservatively and surgically manages all maladies of the foot and ligaments and tendons of the ankle.
